The cause of the fire in the building of the FSB Border Guards Directorate in Rostov-on-Don was a short circuit in the internal electrical system, the governor of the region Vasily Golubev said on his Telegram channel, as reported by Tass.
"According to preliminary results, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the internal electrical wiring. The fire spread caused containers with fuel and lubricants to explode," Golubev wrote, adding that two walls collapsed.
