On the first day of April, right in the heart of Vienna, journalists from the

, Austria's largest news daily (a claimed readership of 2 million), are caught by police brigadiers.
For several hours, they search from top to bottom the editorial offices of the newspaper with the Eurosceptic line, located a few steps from the Danube.
At the same time, 6 kilometers away, another search took place, this time at the premises of the free newspaper

, also belonging to the wealthy Dichand family.
In search of evidence, the investigators sent by the public prosecutor, in charge of economic crimes and corruption, want to determine if the former Austrian chancellor, Sebastian Kurz, bribed the owners of these powerful media.
