(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, 03 APR - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he is unwilling to meet with US Ambassador to Turkey Jeff Flake after the latter had a meeting with Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the presidential candidate of the major opposition parties on the occasion of the next elections scheduled for May 14.
"Our doors are closed to him," Erdogan said, as reported by Turkish state TV Trt.
"Shame on you, use your brain.
You are an ambassador and here your interlocutor is the president, after this event how will you ask for a meeting with the president?" Erdogan added.
"In these elections we need to teach America a lesson," said the Turkish president.
