New owners in the Beit Vegg company:
The owners of the Maccabi Haifa football club, businessman Yaakov Shahar and the heirs of his former business partner Israel Kaz, will be among the controlling owners of the Beit Vegg urban renewal company.
Last Friday, the company reported to the stock exchange that the special purchase offer of the controlling group owned by the Shahar and Kez families and with them those holding positions in the company, was accepted, and they will purchase approximately 36.52% of the company's shares at a price of 750 shekels per share.
Since the value of the company in the books is about NIS 430 million, the families will pay about NIS 150 million for the purchase, which they will purchase from the public.
The group of investors includes the Shahar and Kez families, the company's CEO Ronan Akabia and four VPs: Shahar Klein, Zvika Rubinstein, Itay Hoz and Ron Shahar;
and Globes newspaper publisher Alona Bar-On, who serves as a director of the company.

Ronan Ekabia, CEO of Beit Vegg, states that "this is a significant expression of confidence in the company and its management.
Beit Vegg reaches this period without debt and with significant cash balances, with a series of projects in progress and many more in planning and licensing.
The investment is an opportunity for growth and to take advantage of opportunities that will be in the market in the near future.
I am happy that the Shahar and Kaz families have joined us, together we will grow and strengthen the company, as we have done so far." The Shahar and Kaz
families stated, "Our joining as controlling owners of Beit and Geg alongside the members of the management, is an expression of confidence in the company's abilities in a challenging period for the real estate market and the financial markets. The scope of the projects of the company, together with the financial solidity, constitutes a solid foundation for growth and leadership in the field of urban renewal."
