It's true what Hoffmann von Fallersleben wrote about spring: "No one can paint as beautifully as he makes it." Of course, artists keep trying.
Not just with brush on canvas.
For more than 40 years, Stefan Vogdt - since 2013 together with his daughter Felicitas Boos - has therefore been trying to depict the entire range of fine arts with all their genres.
How lightly, for example, Markus Priller's bronze sculpture "Untitled" (2016, gallery price: 34,000 euros) spirals upwards, like a flower that grows towards the sky, always following the sun.
And how they float, the soap bubbles in Jirí Georg Dokoupil's picture "untitled" (2019, gallery price: 39,000 euros).
He has developed a process with which he can capture the soapy magic on canvas.
And with them an inkling of the happy, playful moments in which they were created.
