A Globus customer has now made a real bargain.
The consumer posts his yield on Twitter and is happy about the offer.
Munich – Especially in times of inflation, consumers are happy about every cheap product they can get their hands on.
Offers are becoming increasingly important.
In addition, countless bad and expired products are thrown away in supermarkets and discounters.
Globus is now counteracting this by offering a bargain box and inspiring a customer.
Bargain box: Supermarket products with a short shelf life for ten euros
The man posts his haul on Twitter, he writes: "Such boxes are available for 10 euros at Globus.
Of course not from today, but fetched on Thursday.
The items have a short MHD or have been listed.
On the box is a list of what's included and the individual prices.
So you know in advance what's in it.” In addition, two pictures – of the note, with the products listed, and all the products that could be found in the box.

For ten euros there was this yield: ham, sausages, vegan Thai curry, twice butter, pasta salad, grilled zucchini, vanilla pudding, feta cheese, whipped cream and a total of six different packs of yoghurt.
Watch out: the supermarket products from the bargain box often have a short shelf life
Just important to note: the food from the bargain box will probably not last as long.
In order not to waste food and to be able to fully use the box, the content and the best-before dates should be kept in mind.
If in doubt, if something no longer smells or tastes edible: better get rid of it!
"Last-minute boxes" in the supermarket: The bargain has been in the Globus range since 2019
The "last-minute boxes", as the Globus group calls them, have been around since December 2019.
The concept was presented with a Facebook post at the time.
You should be able to save half with the boxes, they contain fruit and vegetables, dairy products and baked goods, according to Globus.
The boxes are roughly comparable to the so-called “rescuer bags”, which some people always get enthusiastic about.

Reactions such as "a great idea" can be read under the entry for the globe box.
So the offer seems to be going down well.
One can only hope that such offers will increase in the future, so that food thrown away can be counteracted.
Globus is not the only supermarket with such an offer, the discounter Lidl also offers rescue bags and the supermarket Edeka now also has one on offer.
