The sale of Us Livorno Calcio 1915 was successful. As confirmed this morning by the amaranth club, yesterday the sale agreement between the president Paolo Toccafondi and Joel Esciua, the Brazilian financier who had been indicated for some time as one of Livorno's possible buyers.
The agreed amount would be around 650,000 euros.
Toccafondi's press conference has also been confirmed for tomorrow, as he will maintain the management of the club until the end of the current championship.
Now Toccafondi will illustrate the terms of the transfer of ownership.
On the other hand, the intervention of the new owner who is not currently in Italy is not foreseen.
Livorno now plays in Serie D where it boasts about 1,900 season-ticket fans at the Picchi stadium for home matches, but when the Amaranth team was in Serie A, there were ten times as many season-ticket holders.
