(see New talks in Beijing.... at 7.28 am) (ANSA) - ISTANBUL, 06 APR - Tehran and Riyadh will take the necessary measures to reopen their embassies in their respective countries, resume direct flights between Iran and Saudi Arabia and facilitate the release of visas so that their citizens can visit the two states, including on the occasion of the pilgrimage to Mecca.
This was announced by Tasnim citing a joint statement published following the meeting in Beijing between Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan with the mediation of the Chinese counterpart Qin Gang.
