The choreographer Wayne McGregor, resident at the Royal Ballet in London.
Pal Hansen
"Five, six, seven and eight..." The British tartan sign is launching into the sixth art.
Daniel Lee, Creative Director at Burberry, will design the costumes for Wayne McGregor's upcoming production for the Royal Ballet in London.
This will be the choreographer's twentieth production for the establishment, and if it does not yet have a name, it has a release date: June 9, 2023. Daniel Lee, who has just arrived at the head of Burberry says he is honored, he who says he has always dreamed of making costumes for dance, which is one of his passions.
He thus joins the long list of creators who have dressed the bodies for the choreography, with, among others, Gabrielle Chanel for the Ballets Russes, Issey Miyake for the Frankfurt ballet, or even Christian Lacroix for the Paris Opera.
