(ANSA) - ROME, 08 APR - Moscow says that Kiev is planning a provocation in the Ukrainian region of Sumy imitating the use of artillery ammunition with "toxic substances" by the Russian armed forces and that the Ukrainian special services have been instructed to publish false radio interceptions of alleged discussions by the Russian military about preparations for the use of "chemical weapons".
The whole thing would be part of a plan by Kiev to launch a full-scale information campaign in Western media to discredit Russia on the international stage and try to start a meeting of the United Nations Security Council to accuse Moscow, according to the Russian defense ministry.
Kiev forces "to implement their plans - says the Russian Interdepartmental Coordination for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine - in the past two weeks have prepared an alleged first line defense site of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battle line with Russian troops in the settlement of Ochtyrka. From the morgues they will bring the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers whose deaths allegedly occurred following the use of Russian artillery equipped with poisonous substances.
Ukrainian army and by militants of nationalist groups.
With the help of the foreseen provocation, Kiev will try to start a meeting of the UN Security Council in which to accuse Russia of such actions". (ANSA).
