(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 14 - Russian forces yesterday bombed the Kherson region in southern Ukraine 68 times with heavy artillery, drones and aircraft: a total of 280 shells were fired in the attacks.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, made this known on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
Prokudin had already said yesterday that two people were killed in the attacks and added today that there were also four wounded.
In particular, the city of Kherson was hit four times.
"Russian troops bombed residential areas of settlements in the region, a school premises in Zmiivka and a park in Kherson," he said.
Russian forces then bombed two settlements in the Sumy region of eastern Ukraine 19 times this morning, according to regional authorities.
There is no news for the moment of dead or wounded.
A 47-year-old man was hospitalized yesterday in serious condition after his car was hit by Russian shelling on Dvorichna in the Karkhiv region.
