Yet another triumph for Sofia Raffaeli who dominates the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The Fiamme Oro agent of the State Police wins the All-Around competition at the Gymnastics Sport Palace with a total of 131,850 on the four apparatus.

After beating the competition yesterday in the first day of qualifying, today the gymnast from Chiaravalle, trained at Ginnastica Fabriano by Julieta Cantaluppi who accompanied her in the competition, left her rivals at a sidereal distance with another two extraordinary performances with clubs (32.050 points) and with the ribbon (31,950 points), both best apparatus scores just as had already happened with hoop and ball.

On the place of honor the hostess, the Uzbek Takhmina Ikromova (126,250 pt.) ends up more than five points.

Bronze for the German Margarita Kolosov (125,200 points).

The Atomic Formica thus brings the tally to 8 in the World Cup circuit, after the stages of Athens and Sòfia, which counts three golds, two of which won in the general competition.

Tomorrow we will see the 19-year-old from the Marches back on the platform in all four scheduled specialty finals.

"I'm happy with the medal but above all because race after race we see that we're working well. I can do even better and improve, starting tomorrow with the apparatus finals. I can't wait to do the exercises again tomorrow to improve my qualification, to lucky I qualified for all four", said the reigning world champion after the Uzbek success.

Absent from this stage of the World Cup were the Butterflies of the National Team, who are preparing the next appointment in Baku (May 21-23) on the road that will lead to the grand finale in Milan (July 21-23).

For the record, the general group competition was won by China, with Germany and Uzbekistan completing the podium in Tashkent.
