The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, posted this Friday April 21 on Instagram a snapshot of Elizabeth II surrounded by some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A way to celebrate the late monarch when she would have celebrated her 97th birthday this Friday.
A posthumous tribute
In the photo, the sovereign, who died on September 8, appears smiling.
The Princess of Wales took this photograph at the Queen's holiday home, Balmoral Castle in Scotland in the summer of 2022.
