Fritz Meinecke has finally redeemed his fans and announced 7 vs. Wild Season 3.

However, the continuation of the success format brings with it some changes.

Magdeburg – The videos of 7 vs. Wild are now a sure guarantee for plenty of clicks on YouTube.

Episodes from the second season reached over 10 million viewers in some cases.

Not least because of the massive success, the founder of the series, Fritz Meinecke, decided to continue the survival show after initial concerns.

7 vs. Wild Season 3 will, however, do some things differently than its predecessor.

7 vs. Wild Season 3 turns everything upside down - 5 things that will be completely different

Season 3 is coming:

7 vs. Wild fans have long been in anticipation.

Because after the end of the second season, Fritz Meinecke actually said that a third season of the survival format could not be expected.

However, this decision seems to have been thrown overboard, because the third season 7 vs. Wild was announced on April 16th.

The new announcement also comes with a lot of changes around the corner.

7 vs. Wild will deviate from the previous concept.

To be more precise, the format is completely turned on its head.

So far, not all details about the third season are known, but there are already five changes that fundamentally jerk the format.

7 vs. Wild Season 3 - Outdoor duo instead of survival solo

Not alone anymore:

Probably the biggest and most serious change in the third season of 7 vs. Wild is the number and composition of participants.

Because candidates no longer have to compete alone in the survival show, but start together with a teammate.

As a result, none of the participants is completely on their own, but can solve tricky and demanding tasks together with their partner.

The decision should be a huge boon for the 7 vs. Wild Season 3 contestants.

Because, as Fritz Meinecke himself showed in a YouTube video, almost all of the crashes from the first two seasons could have been prevented or at least delayed with a team partner.

For example, Nova broke up in Panama because she couldn't cope with the isolation on the desert island.

7 vs. Wild Season 3 – Survives twice longer

Period extended:

Previously, the contestants of 7 vs. Wild always had to survive seven full days in the wild.

Since season 3 is played in teams, the period of the survival experiment is also tightened.

The teams now have to survive a full 14 days outdoors.

Of course, this creates different needs for the candidates.

Because it may still be possible to do without solid food for seven days, but not eating anything for a complete 14 days is a completely different number.

The participants often came back with up to 10 kilograms less on their ribs.

So in Season 3 of 7 vs. Wild it could become much more important to fish or hunt.

7 vs. Wild Season 3 - Don't pack your seven things

Item Choices:

Another exciting rule for Season 3 of 7 vs. Wild concerns the contestants' items.

Because unlike in the previous parts of the show, the participants are not allowed to take a certain number of utensils with them.

This time, each team can take as much as fits into a 1-liter bottle.

There are no further restrictions except that the bottle must be closed and no electrical devices are allowed.

So the candidates have to make sure that the objects are actually small enough to fit through the neck of the bottle.

Fishing line and hook shouldn't be a problem.

However, it seems that the participants of the third season of 7 vs. Wild will have to do without bigger saws and machetes.

So the new rule requires future candidates to take a completely new approach to item selection.

7 vs. Wild Season 3 – Bye Bye Daily Challenge

No gamification:

So far, there have been so-called daily challenges for all participants in the seasons of 7 vs. Wild.

In these, the candidates were given some tricky tasks and received points for the implementation according to their performance.

Thus, in the last two seasons, a winner could also be chosen based on the points.

But this should change in the next chapter of the survival show.

Because in season 3 there will be no more daily challenges.

The winners are the participants who survive a full two weeks in the wilderness.

This change will allow candidates to better manage their energy and potentially put a greater focus on gathering food or building shelters.

These survival practices were often neglected in the last few seasons because a lot of time was lost for the respective challenges.

7 vs. Wild Season 3 - Heading North

There you go:

The location of 7 vs. Wild Season 3 is no longer a secret either.

At least not entirely.

After all, the rough region is already known.

The candidates are going to Canada or Alaska.

Untouched nature awaits the participants here, which may resemble the first season in Sweden.

So it is clear that no one has to be prepared for tropical temperatures.

Instead, however, it could be very important to build a decent shelter to protect yourself from the cold, especially at night.

In addition, lakes or rivers could also invite fishing and thus provide a good source of food.

So far, however, the exact location of 7 vs. Wild season 3 has not been determined.

The team has yet to analyze which locations will meet the special needs of the show.

What is certain, however, is that the third season of 7 vs. Wild will do some things differently than its predecessor.
