The carabinieri arrested in Genoa Pasquale Bonavota, 49, included in the list of fugitives of maximum danger forming part of the "special research program" of the Ministry of the Interior.
Bonavita was taken at the conclusion of investigations conducted by the Ros and by the provincial commands of the carabinieri of Vibo Valentia and Genoa.
Bonavota was wanted for a precautionary custody order in prison issued in the Rinascita-Scott del Ros investigation, by the investigating judge of Catanzaro.
He is held responsible for the mafia association as promoter of the gang of the same name within the 'Ndrangheta club of Sant'Onofrio.
