In March, 1,005,654 families received the Income or Citizenship Pension, substantially stable compared to February for an average household amount of 572.16 euros: this is what emerges from the INPS Observatory according to which, in addition to two thirds, 674,427 households, are resident in the South or in the Islands.
Overall, about 2.15 million individuals are affected by the measure in one million households (1.5 million of whom in the South).
In March, 575.39 million were spent on poverty relief, while 1.8 billion were spent in the first three months of the year (2.1 in the first quarter of 2022).
Between January and March, INPS received 299,467 applications for citizenship income or pensions, down by 24.8% compared to 398,229 in the same period of 2022.
