(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 27 - Russia has rejected the US embassy's request for a visit to Wall Street Journal journalist Evan Gershkovich, who is in prison in Moscow on May 11 "because of the visa refusal situation for Russian journalists to travel to New York".
The Russian Foreign Ministry said so, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"It was especially stressed that an act of sabotage aimed at hampering normal journalistic work will not go without retaliation," the Russian ministry said.
