(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 29 - The Ukrainian administration of the Kherson region, in the south of the country, is preparing for a mass evacuation in the event that Russian bombing increases, as happened yesterday, reports the Kyiv Independent.
Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said today that due to increased Russian attacks in the oblast and across the country, he ordered evacuation means to be prepared for more people.
The Kremlin's army left Kherson last November retreating to the east bank of the Dnipro River.
