The ANSA Members' Assembly, chaired by President Giulio Anselmi, met today in Rome and approved the Agency's 2022 budget.

The financial statements, for the fifth consecutive year, showed a profit for the year, equal to 773 thousand euros for 2022.

Gross revenues from sales and services remained substantially unchanged compared to 2021.

    The Assembly then approved the increase to 24 members of the Agency's board of directors, which therefore saw the entry of Mirja Cartia D'Asero ( Il Sole 24 ore spa);

at the same time the appointment of directors Antonio Rosario Garozzo (Domenico Sanfilippo Editore spa) and Corrado Corradi (GEDI News Network spa) was ratified,

    President Anselmi commented with satisfaction on the positive results of the Agency, which recently saw the increase from 23 to 26 of the members of the Cooperative, with the entry of Il Nuovo Manifesto, Il Centro and Edizioni del Mezzogiorno: 'This renewed interest of the publishing world towards the Agency, together with the positive economic results, are the result of effective management and the commitment ensured by the staff in a period of great difficulty such as that of recent years, characterized by threats and concerns that crowd the global scene as well as the national one.

Even in this situation, ANSA confirmed its leadership and continued in its tradition of credibility, reliability and guarantee of quality information'.

    The managing director Stefano De Alessandri thanked the shareholders for their constant support and underlined that 'the year that has just ended has seen ANSA continue its policy of expanding its increasingly widespread international presence;

at the same time we continued with our technological investments and completed our range of services with the entry into the media monitoring market, thanks to the collaboration started with Volocom.

The results achieved - he concluded - confirm the effectiveness of our industrial strategy and encourage us to continue in the direction undertaken'.
