INTERVIEW – With the 2024 Olympics, works and ecological constraints, filming in Paris is becoming more and more complicated.


What will all these studios that want to expand or sprout around Paris bring?

I look forward to them.

Their speed in making permanent decorations of Paris outdoors will be decisive.

In 2022, we have reached the ceiling of possible filming in town.

In 2023, the pace is still just as fast and the teams are going where they can.

They must learn to prepare mixed shoots: the essential scenes in the streets of Paris and the others in the studio.

Are there also ecological constraints?

Absolutely.

Cycle paths, limited traffic areas, parking restrictions for parking production trucks and sometimes the weariness of local residents in very busy places make filming in Paris more complicated.

We don't want all these shoots to film Paris in Eastern Europe!

These studios will arrive within 18 to 36 months.

In the middle, there are the Olympics.

What's going to happen ?

It will be difficult to shoot in Paris from June to September and after the Olympics.
