On May 3, the actress opened up to
People
magazine about her growing personal growth as time goes by, saying on the magazine's cover that "life gets better with age."
The Grace and Frankie
star
believes that getting older helps you identify what really matters in life.
"A bad thing happens, and you think, 'Well, it's happened before, and I'm fine. I'll get over it,'" she told the magazine.

Resilience and strength
Jane Fonda has the wisdom of one who has lived through hardships.
"There have been tragedies and difficult things in my life," she told the magazine.
But I never succumbed to it.
I've been resilient all my life."
Last year, the Oscar-winning actress underwent chemotherapy to treat non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system which she announced she had suffered in September 2022. In December, she indicated that she was in remission on her Instagram account.
