Highlights: Noa Kirel will take the Eurovision stage in Liverpool in style, wearing a bra and a model that turn into shorts. We were reminded of the feathers, sequins and satin suits that left their mark on millions of viewers all over the world. Who can forget Conchita Wurst from Austria who won in 2014 with a gold lace dress and beard? Or the satin outfits of the Swedish band ABBA or Eleni Foureira's fire jumpsuit from Cyprus.

At 22 p.m., Noa Kirel will take the Eurovision stage in Liverpool in style, wearing a bra and a model that turn into shorts. Just before all the fun begins, we went back in time to the great moments, and especially the spectacular costumes, provided by the competitors over the years.

While most performers tend to opt for a look that screams "I'm a pop star," there were also quite a few brilliant moments, such as Dana International's iconic dress, the satin outfits of the Swedish band ABBA or Eleni Foureira's fire jumpsuit from Cyprus.

ABBA made its Eurovision debut in 1974. That same year, the slightly future satin outfit captivated the audience, with blue, orange and silver looks becoming their trademark.

Dana International's iconic feather dress in 1998 was designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier, which also brought with it not only style, but also the first transgender win at Eurovision.

Kate Miller Heidekki surprised viewers with a dress fitting the princess as she swung back and forth in the air while attached to a pole.

Italian rock band Moonskin took to the Eurovision stage in perfect glam rock inspired by the late 70s and designed by the Italian brand Etro.

The lead singer of the Norwegian rock band Vig Wam also arrived in the style of a rock star with a silver leotard, gloves and of course a thick hairband that completed the look.

Eleni Foureira from Cyprus played her huge in a tight fire-like jumpsuit that paired beautifully with her long curls and red, yellow and purple lighting.

And it is impossible to finish this list without Ukrainian Verka Serduchka in a slightly alien outfit covered in silver sequins, a hat in the shape of a star and lots of feathers.
