The circle of candidates on "Germany's Next Topmodel" on Pro Sieben is getting smaller and smaller. This time it will be decided which of Heidi's girls will make it into the top ten. Is Coco from Munich among the lucky ones?
Getting into the top ten is not only the dream of pop stars, but also for the candidates of "Germany's Next Topmodel" the entry into the circle of the best ten is something very special. In the current episode, which can be seen on Thursday from 20:15 p.m. on Pro Sieben, Heidi raises – or lowers – her thumb over the remaining eleven girls. Among them is Coco, the only one of the original four participants from Bavaria who is still in the race. The 20-year-old native of Munich is already overjoyed. As she says in an interview with our newspaper, she "never expected to even get the chance to move into the top ten".
For the shoot, the up-and-coming models will transform themselves this time "into stylish it-girls", as the private broadcaster says. Photographer Yu Tsai has her pose in a luxurious penthouse in Los Angeles. Dressed by star designers Yves Saint Laurent, Alexandre Vauthier, Michael Costello and Peter Dundas, the girls handle champagne bottles and diamonds. What they don't know is that while they are being photographed by Yu Tsai, their loved ones are standing just a few meters away. Heidi Klum has flown in family members and friends – already a tradition at "GNTM", in which, also traditionally, a lot of tears of joy flow. An emotional moment, of course, for Coco as well. "None of us had a clue," she assures. And beams: "That gave me so much strength and energy!"
But what gives strength on the one hand can cause a lot of heart palpitations on the other. Because the visitor from Germany also watches the so-called Elimination Walk. How the participants master the challenge will be judged by model mom Klum together with model and actress Sofia Vergara as a guest juror. "When there are people in the audience who are important to you, it makes you particularly nervous," the 50-year-old said. Will Coco be able to withstand the pressure and will it continue for her?
