Street dog Kane is injured so badly in a car accident that one leg has to be amputated. But then he meets a young man who wants to adopt him anyway – because he shares his fate.
After a serious infection, the young man Dane Orozco from Los Angeles loses his right leg. The amputation is him and he becomes more and more depressed. He finds solace only when he is around animals. And so he prefers to spend his time at the local shelter.
Shelter German Shepherd Loses Leg After Accident – "You Don't Believe Who Adopted Him"
There he meets the German Shepherd Kane. The dog lived as a stray on the street and did not always have it easy there. After a bad car accident, his right front leg had to be amputated. The chance of adoption was zero – who wants a three-legged dog? Possibly someone who can understand Kane and comprehend his fate. A man like Dane Orozco, for example. From the first sight, he fell in love with the dog and knew that he would take him home.
The video, which was shared on Facebook some time ago by the animal welfare organization "Inland Valley Humane Society", still touches people on the Internet today. Because it is not very common for a three-legged dog to find a new home with a person who has also lost a leg. And so, the clip showing the moment Dane takes home his new boyfriend, Kane, also went viral on TikTok. Most users comment that they are moved to tears by the bond between the two.
- "The two of them support each other and are good for each other. 😭🥺"
- "Thanks, just wanted to cry anyway. 😥"
- "He ended up right where he belongs."
- "He couldn't have found a better partner. 🥺"
