Highlights: Random Access Memories was released in 1992. The French duo reissues the disc in an expanded version. Between studio version and extension of some tracks hides Infinity Repeating, an unreleased track. An atmospheric title, without chorus, punctuated by the tireless repetition "It's not right, it's not true" by Julian Casablancas, singer of the New York band The Strokes, invited by Daft Punk. The duo unveiled it in preview on May 11 at the Centre Pompidou, where it all began.

Ten years after the release of Random Access Memories, the French have proposed a reissue with a new atmospheric title.

With the release of his first personal project, the music of the ballet Mythologies, which occurred a few weeks ago, Thomas Bangalter really began a solo career. Separated since 2021 from his alter ego Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo, the musician returns to his first love, for the 10th anniversary of the memorable Random Access Memories. The duo reissues the disc in an expanded version and unveiled it in preview on May 11 at the Centre Pompidou, where it all began in 1992. Infinity Repeating. An atmospheric title, without chorus, punctuated by the tireless repetition "It's not right, it's not true" by Julian Casablancas, singer of the New York band The Strokes, invited by Daft Punk. The song is an evolutionary and hovering loop that breaks down at the end. Ten years ago, the title is not retained in the final version of Random Access Memories. Julian Casablancas already voiced on Instant Crush. At the end of the video broadcast at the Centre Pompidou, Casablancas says: "It's a good song to conclude Daft Punk. Forever." It couldn't be better said.

In May 2013, the airwaves are shaken by a hit: Get Lucky, fruit of the collaboration of Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams. The record surprised in the dazzling career of the flagship duo of the French Touch. Played on instruments by cadors from the Californian studios, the record had been a worldwide triumph. But with this album, never played on stage, the helmeted duo had obviously not said its last word.
