The firing of rockets, about 15, from Gaza towards Israeli communities near the Strip resumed after a pause of almost 13 hours. One of these - according to the spokesman of the border communities - fell on a greenhouse but without causing victims. The others - according to the same source - were either intercepted by the Iron Dome or fell in open areas. The last launch from the Strip dates back to 22 (local time) last night.
Following the rocket fire from Gaza, alarm sirens sound in several locations near Jerusalem. In particular, sirens sound in Beit Shemesh and - in the West Bank - in the Jewish settlement area of Gush Etzion and in the predominantly Orthodox colony city of Beitar Illit. According to public radio, echoes of explosions can be heard.
