The Joint Commissions I and XI of the Chamber have started the examination of the various requests for modification of the Decree Law Pa - Pnrr 44/2023: among the amendments presented, several concern the school, the university, the knowledge and research sector and among these over 50 are those prepared by Anief, the representative union that aims to guarantee educational continuity, to specialize more support teachers, to achieve the objectives of the PNRR with additional staff. "They have accepted our suggestions, we hope that politics will give an answer," the president of Anief, Marcello Pacifico, told ANSA.
"To achieve the PNRR we need to hire additional staff - continues Pacifico -, we have proposals to manage the transitional phase of all those rankings of thousands of temporary workers, even winners of competitions, who are waiting for the entry into the role, we would like an enhancement of the ATA staff, resources that are needed to make the administrative machine work better, but also the DSGA (director of general and administrative services) who for many years have managed our schools ". The point for Anief is educational continuity, especially when it comes to support teachers.
"We would like the support posts in derogation, more than one hundred thousand every year, hired with the ballet of substitutes, to be finally assigned in the roles to specialized teachers", says Pacifico, according to whom the number of teachers to be specialized in Italian universities should therefore be increased without forcing them to go abroad. "But also those specialized abroad (about 8000) deserve to be hired in our schools," he points out. Anief also asks for a 'travel allowance' for mobility: "If there is a problem of mobility of personnel who go from the South to the North from the center to the periphery - says Marcello Pacifico - the solution is not to put constraints but to make sure that those who move do not spend all their salary to be able to work".
