The quays of Venice looked like a red carpet. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, accompanied by their daughter Carys, were gathered in the Venetian capital on May 13. The trio, who currently live between London and New York, were able to revel in the Italian sun on the occasion of the wedding of Scotty James, Australian snowboarder, with Chloe Stroll, daughter of billionaire at the head of the Formula 1 team Aston Martin, Lawrence Stroll. It was aboard a vaporetto that the young Carys, 19, arrived with her parents at the scene of the ceremony, before treading the streets of Venice.

The youngest of the two actors was dressed in a long green backless dress, textured with leaves sewn here and there. A piece that she embellished with a clutch in cream tones, and sandals with silver heels. Chestnut hair spread on her back, she held the hand of her father, who seemed proud to walk in her company, sunglasses on his nose.
The 78-year-old actor wore a purple sweater that contrasted with a pale blue shirt and white cigarette pants. Catherine Zeta-Jones had bet on orange, with a long flowing dress, tied in the back.
In his mother's footsteps
The couple, who met at the Deauville American Film Festival in 1998, have been united for more than two decades. Married in 2000 at the Plaza Hotel in New York, they first gave birth to Dylan Michael Douglas, now 22, and then to Carys.

The latter is the youngest daughter of the couple, and she has undoubtedly inherited the artistic fiber of her parents. A music enthusiast like her mother, she gladly shares excerpts of her vocal performances on her Instagram account.
Today, she studies fashion in New York, driven by her love of catwalks. An umpteenth passion that Catherine Zeta-Jones has always instilled in him.
