Free activities, guided thematic circuits and good gastronomy. These will be the pillars of the first edition of "El Finde del Turismo", which will take place on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21 in the City of Buenos Aires.
Throughout the weekend there will be discounts on different gastronomic proposals and trips on all subway lines will be free from 19 until the end of the service.
"We work permanently to develop new proposals, as well as to position the traditional and emerging tourist offer of the City, making available to tourists and neighbors a wide variety of options to enjoy a destination that is constantly renewed," said Lucas Delfino, president of the Tourism Board of the City of Buenos Aires.

This initiative derives from the well-known Tourism Night, which had two successful editions in 2022 and, given the great call obtained, from the Tourism Entity of the City of Buenos Aires it was decided to extend the meeting over two full days. In this way, both neighbors and national and international tourists can enjoy the attractions.
In this last edition, the number of attendees exceeded 91 thousand national and international visitors, and a hotel occupancy of 84% was estimated.
Below, the schedule of activities for Saturday, May 20:
Football circuits
Guided circuit "Murales futboleros" in the neighborhood of La Paternal at 10, 11 and 12 hs. The meeting point is the mural "El rastrojero de don Yayo" (Av. Álvarez Jonte y Gavilán) and ends with a visit to the Argentinos Juniors museum (with 30% discount).
Guided tour "Memories of an idol" through the neighborhood of Villa Devoto, in which some little-known memories of the idol Diego Maradona are immortalized.
At 15, 16 and 17 hs, the meeting point is Café García (Sanabria 3302). At the end you can enjoy the "Wine District Fair" in Plaza Arenales (Mercedes 4085).

Historical circuits

Guided tour of the Carriage Market, in Retiro at 10, 11 and 12 hs, starting at Galerías Pacifico (Cordoba Avenue and Florida). The tour will feature the artistic participation of Camilo Verga at 13:30 p.m.
-Guided circuit "Evolution of transport" in Caballito, at 15, 16 and 17 hs. The tour, which begins in the Plaza Primera Junta, will allow you to appreciate the "English quarter" and enter the Mercado del Progreso to learn the anecdotes of the tram that knew how to become a museum in movement.
-Photographic circuit through the neighborhood of San Telmo at 17, 18 and 19 hs, which will begin in the Plaza Dorrego. They will be accompanied by a professional guide and photographer to tour this emblematic area of the City.
Artistic circuits
-Alternative guided tour of La Boca at 14, 15 and 16 hs, reviewing the works of emerging artists in the neighborhood, ending with discounted access to the "Colón Fábrica" for those who arrive at the box office with an identification bracelet of the guided tour. The promotional price will be $450.
-Theatrical guided circuit "Fantastic journey to the bohemian life of 1900" in Boedo, at 10 and 11 am, which begins at the corner Homero Manzi (Av. San Juan and Av. Boedo) to publicize the most representative places, where the plastic, theater, circus, literature, tango and sports life, made the neighborhood a pioneer of popular art.
-Guided tour of the Cassará Building, at 16, 17 and 18 pm in Monserrat, where one of the Institutes of the Cassará Foundation and AreaTec operates. Currently, the exhibition "OCIO" is taking place in which the artists Marcella Casal, Gastón Bejarano, Soledad Miguens and Adriana Cerviño exhibit works. Football circuits
-Guided circuit "Astros del fútbol" in the area of Palermo Soho at 10, 11 and 12 hs, with meeting point in Armenia and Nicaragua (Plaza Inmigrantes de Armenia), touring the urban art of the neighborhood where some references of the Argentine National Team are reflected as Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona and Emiliano "Dibu" Martínez.
-Dramatized circuit "Three cups, three legends" in the neighborhood of San Nicolás at 15.30 and 17 hs, to know the history of the participations of the Argentine National Team in the World Cups.
From the meeting point in Lavalle and 25 de Mayo, a tour guide, a football reporter and a bullanguera fan will be in charge of transporting visitors through time.
-Guided circuit "Touring the neighborhood of an idol" in Villa Devoto at 18 and 19 hs. It crosses the neighborhood where Diego Maradona lived, with a starting point in the Plaza Arenales (Mercedes 4058), the tour will visit some of the tourist attractions related to the idol.

Historical circuits
-Theatrical guided circuit "The Plaza de la Victoria and its first neighbors" in Monserrat. At 10 and 11 am, starting at the monument to Juan de Garay, next to the Casa Rosada, the tour by three guides and two musicians will relive the history of the first square of the city (current Plaza de Mayo), recreating the customs and ideals of the characters who passed through it in the most relevant moments.
-Guided tour of the Buenos Aires Legislature in Monserrat at 14, 15, 16, and 17 hs, next to its iconic library in order to know the political history of the City.
-Guided photographic circuit through the neighborhood of San Nicolás. At 17, 18 and 19 hs, with starting point at the Mirador del Obelisco - Escalinatas (Av. Pres. Roque Sáenz Peña 1124).
The tour will seek to capture the best architectural postcards offered by the neighborhood and that make up the historical heritage of both the City and the country.
Artistic circuits
-Guided circuit "Mysteries of Argentine Fashion" in Recoleta at 10 and 11.30 hs. The tour begins in Junín 1930 with a dramatization about the mysteries of Argentine fashion. This circuit will take visitors through some of the most interesting areas of the city in terms of fashion and art.
-Inclusive guided tours for people with disabilities in Monserrat at 12 and 14 hs. On Saturday 20 from 12 noon will be held the WineDistrict Fair in Plaza Arenales (Mercedes 4058, Devoto). The event will be attended by the most outstanding wineries in Argentina in 35 exclusive stands and 5 wine bar stands in the District. The public will be able to know and taste wines from different wineries in consumption "by the glass".
There will also be a gastronomic proposal with several of the most important restaurants that are located on the square, with tables on the streets. There will also be a gastronomic patio mounted on the corner of New York and Mercedes with the presence of stalls of restaurants in the District area that are not located on the square.
In turn, a stage will offer didactic talks, guided tastings, interactive content with the public and interviews with winemakers. On the same stage there will be various musical shows to liven up the afternoon and night of the Fair.
