(ANSA) - RAVENNA, 20 MAY - A helicopter fell in Belricetto di Lugo, in the province of Ravenna, while it was engaged in an intervention for power line failures caused by bad weather. According to what is learned, the four people on board were injured: already extracted by the firefighters, they were taken away by air ambulance. The aircraft would be a private vehicle of the company 'EliOssola'. According to an initial reconstruction, the helicopter attempted an emergency landing.
Two injured are serious. The Lugo police and the fire brigade intervened on the spot. As ordered by the Pmdi on duty Angela Scorza, divers are scouring the area in search of instrumentation on board the aircraft to reconstruct what happened.
At the moment no eyewitnesses have been traced: butfrom the position of the wreck on the ground, it has been assumed a wrong landing, for reasons under consideration, with violent impact of the front. The carcass for now will remain in place.
