For EliasN97, a switch to Twitch competitor Kick is probably out of the question. The star streamer has clearly spoken out against the new streaming platform.
Berlin – EliasN97 has no interest in leaving Twitch anytime soon. Like many other streamers of his caliber, the Berlin-based Twitch star was recently confronted with the question of whether he was planning to switch to the new streaming provider Kick. He took the question as an opportunity not only to dispel rumours about his move. "Eligella" also shared his clear opinion on Kick as a competitor for Twitch.

EliasN97: No kick change in sight – The streamer is not interested in money
Change also not for 10 million euros: EliasN97 made it pretty clear to his fans how he feels about a move to Kick. The question from the community wasn't just whether he would go to Kick. A fan asked if he would consider the move for 10 million euros. But even with such a tight sum, it remains a clear "no" for the streamer.

Elias Nerlich recently disclosed his high earnings, but even for a Twitch star like him, 10 million euros would be a tidy sum. There's a little more to his aversion to kick. EliasN97 let his viewers know this directly in the stream.
EliasN97: Kick is not a serious competitor for Twitch
Here's why EliasN97 wouldn't switch: The streamer sees Kick as nothing more than "a copy of Twitch", it's literally the same thing in green. In fact, Kick and Twitch have practically the same layout of the website, but Kick gets away with a copy of Amazon's model – after all, Twitch has not applied for any patents on the page structure. EliasN97 thinks that's pretty clever in itself, after all, it would make it easier for other fans to get started.
Who founded Kick?
Until December 2022, it was still a common assumption that gambling streamer Trainwreckstv was involved in the founding of Kick<1esen. The speculation went so far that Trainwreck himself had to clear up the rumors in a longer tweet. It is now known that Kick is owned by EasyGo Entertainment, whose founders were already involved in the founding of stake.com.
The idea that Twitch will get a monopoly position as a streaming provider is also right for Eligella. In his eyes, however, Kick chooses the wrong approach and the wrong content. Already in our interview with EliasN97 we addressed Kick as a Twitch competitor, in the livestream he made his position clear once again:
Competition is always good, but it's reasonable – not just any site with any p*rno streams on it, or something like that."

My Area
Kick has been regularly criticized lately. Not only is the platform very generous in dealing with the content of the livestreams and also allows for controversial gambling. Some streamers also use Kick's lax policies to incite violence against individual groups of people. The desire for a reasonable competitor to Twitch is great, but as EliasN97 says: it should be a reasonable alternative.
