(ANSA) - MILAN, MAY 24 - A person blocked also using pepper spray and batons by four officers of the local police of Milan: this is what can be seen in a video shot by some students of Bocconi University this morning. The footage, which has gone viral with a lot of controversy over violence, shows the final part of the officers' intervention against a young woman with a harsh approach to immobilize her.
The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case. Deputy Prosecutor Laura Pedio and Prosecutor Marcello Viola have been informed of the matter and an investigation file will obviously be opened. And Mayor Giuseppe Sala asked for a report.
According to a first reconstruction the blocked person, a Brazilian transsexual with previous records, had been reported by the parents of the school of the Trotter park, in Giacosa street, because she was partly undressing, completely altered, screaming that she had AIDS. She also shouted it to the agents who intervened and who, explained Vincini, managed to contain her with difficulty.
The forty-one year old without a residence permit and with a series of precedents was made to get into the car to take it to the central arrests and arrests office of the local police in Via Custodi, in the Navigli area not far from Bocconi University. She, explained Daniele Vincini of Sulpl, began to give headlines and pretended to faint. And when the officers were opening the door she gave a violent kick and went out, kicking an officer, "who has a prognosis of 15 days", to escape on foot to the place where she was stopped.
"The agents - underlined Vincini - were forced to use the spacer and the spray to take her away. And we are at their side, even with our lawyers if necessary." (ANSA).
