Among the plethora of events that took place this past weekend, there was one that was celebrated in a slightly different way. Voila! Celebs, of course, are talking about the birthday ofNicole Reidman, who decided to skip extravagant celebrations, and for a really good reason.
The wealthy businesswoman celebrated her 37th birthday and wrote a text on her Instagram account that ranged from greeting to soul-searching.
"Congratulations to me! The years go by fast, life flies, every year on my birthday I summarize the past year with myself, look back, do honest and deep soul-searching and rethink my course. This year for the first time, I chose to dedicate this net day to myself.
No extravagant parties with giant cakes, no pyrotechnics and fireworks, no champagne and caviar (not kosher, Shana already keeps kosher and is proud of myself), without two thousand stories in which I share your blessings, without thousands of exaggerated flower arrangements sent to me by the size of a nursery (there is also a Samoyya contest between friends "who sent bigger"), and any of my friends who are now calling and plotting to send something, So do a mitzvah, donate this money that won't go to the trash, to one of the nonprofits you want, and send me a sticker on WhatsApp, I swear it will warm my heart much more than Rolls Royce on a truck with a million balloons."

Raidman went on to write about the internal change that has taken place in her in recent years: "I write and think to myself what an evolution I have undergone. I went through with my soul and learned to separate it from the ego. Once upon a time, a new immigrant from Odessa, a girl who experienced anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union and racism in Israel, had to prove to everyone that she was worth, that she was successful in her own right, that she had "the biggest." Today I no longer have anything to prove to anyone, I proved everything and everyone a long time ago.
All that remains for me to prove every day anew is to myself that I am a good person with a pure heart and a clear conscience, to be proud of myself and to love myself. Actually, there's something to talk about. Today I look at life differently, life is not a news item and a story with tags, life is a moment, which passes and does not return and we waste too many beautiful moments of life on the "flash".
So my loved ones, thank you in advance for the blessings, I feel lucky. Thank God for always with me, thank you for my amazing children, you all my life. Thank you to my beloved friends, you are my family, thank you to my amazing and dedicated staff who have been with me for years and a huge and special thank you to my fanatics, thanks to you I wake up every morning with crazy adrenaline for more successes and do not stop, this year you will have really heartburn, promising. Wishing myself health, comfort from my beloved children, light and love."
Voila! Celebs celebrated her birthday with a huge party, but no one came to pick her up.
