It is a passion that is passed down from generation to generation. Isabelle Huppert already shares her love of cinema with her daughter Lolita Chammah, giving her the answer in A Women's Affair (1988), Copacabana (2010) or Dams (2017). She can now do the same with the latter's youngest son. This is how 10-year-old Gabriel Merz-Chammah shared the red carpet with his mother at the 37th edition of the Cabourg Romantic Film Festival in Normandy on June 17. Looking cheerful and his hair in the wind, he was dressed in casual attire: white shirt, navy blue suit jacket matched with shorts and a pair of sneakers.

A career started at 8 years old
If the little boy is only at the beginning of his career, his first role was noticed (and acclaimed) in Les Intranquilles (2021) by Joachim Lafosse. A film that had earned him to climb the steps in Cannes, on the arm of Leila Bekhti.
Two years later, the son of Lolita Chammah and director Julien Féret has grown up: he seemed in his element among the myriad of celebrities present in Normandy for these few days of festivities - Jean Réno, Patrick Bruel, Noémie Merlant, Louis Garrel ...
