On Tuesday, June 20, all eyes were on Pharrell Williams. The new artistic director of Vuitton's men's line presented his first show on the Pont-Neuf in Paris, in front of 1750 guests, including a maddening list of celebrities. Among them, Kim Kardashian. The reality star took her place in the front row of the show, wearing a pixelated camouflage ensemble, signed from Louis Vuitton's latest men's collection. But his presence, and his look, have strongly reacted some of his detractors on social networks.

Bra and leggings
That evening, Kim Kardashian wore a bra and leggings in green and brown hues. The pixel pattern that covers her outfit is a nod to Louis Vuitton's signature checkerboard. A long black coat, a checkered banana bag, both stuffed, and a pair of transparent pumps with vertiginous heels completed this set.

If some Internet users praise the audacity, others wonder: "I do not think there is a problem with the outfit, but I think we must find another stylist Kim," persifed on Twitter a user, who points out a bad combination of accessories.

A video game character?
The pixel pattern also surprised, evoking for some the world of video games. "Why does it look like a Minecraft character?" asked one commentator on Twitter, referring to the popular game of placing blocks to create adventures. This was followed by problematic comments about Kim Kardashian's physique, comparing her to a wax statue.
These not-so-innocuous criticisms could well affect the main interested party, points out Page Six. Last year, the star of The Kardashians confided on the set of his show his difficulties to assume his choices, including clothing, since his divorce with rapper Kanye West in 2021. I had gotten to a point where I was asking him for advice on everything, right down to how to dress," she said at the time about her marriage.
