Noa Kirel continues to break records with a sold-out show in the Yarkon Park, but there are those whose achievement was less impressive, and not for the first time.

Media personality and comedian Shai Goldstein shared a post on his Facebook page Monday night in which he spoke harshly against Kyrell's show, even declaring it at the end "a day of national mourning."

"All the tickets for Noa Kirel's show at Yarkon Park sold out within four hours and a historic record was set for ticket sales," Goldstein began his new post, then added sarcastically: "Congratulations to Noa Kirel and good luck with the show. The state of Israeli music has never been worse. This day can be declared a national day of mourning in memory of Hebrew culture in the Land of Israel," he concluded, which predictably sparked a wave of reactions.

Here are some of them: "I find your kamikaze mode funny," actor Yuval Segal wrote in response, adding a heart emoji. "The world as usual and there is room for everyone. It's not your audience, not your music, not mine, and yet I can praise this girl without burying Israeli music. I buried Israeli society, on the other hand, a long time ago," wrote a follower of Goldstein's.

"'Unicorn' specifically isn't an elite genre, but it's not an empty song, at all that most just didn't understand its metaphor and that probably includes you," concluded another follower.

"Have mercy on people like you, and jealousy will eat you from within. Let go and rejoice," others added, with Goldstein sarcastically replying: "I love those who write 'jealousy.' Right. I envy Noa Kirel because I, too, would like to sing and dance in tight clothes in Yarkon Park. Died of jealousy."

Last May, Goldstein shared two other posts against Kyrell after her Eurovision Namber was revealed, in which he wrote, among other things, that this was not a show of female empowerment, but rather the sexual exploitation of a confused girl in a leg-opening show in front of the whole world, as he put it.

Noa Kirel did not respond to a request for comment.
