Following the uproar caused by actor Amir Khoury when he shared a story on his Instagram page earlier this week about the IDF's activity in Jenin, Network 13 and the series "Red Sky" in which he takes part are under severe attack on social networks, including calls for a boycott.

Last Monday, at the height of Operation Home and Garden in Jenin, Khoury chose to share a graphic video of the military activity there, adding in English the caption: "Jenin under severe attack." Within minutes, the story became the focus of a storm, with Khori being subjected to a fierce onslaught of online comments.

Alongside a sharp decline in Khoury's number of followers on social media in recent days, the Instagram and Facebook pages of Network 13, where the series "Red Sky" is broadcast with his participation, were filled with harsh and angry reactions, with many users calling for a boycott not only of Khoury but also of Reshet and the series.
"Channel 13 is nothing to watch," wrote a user in a post promoting the series on a Facebook page. "Maor and Zeda don't deserve it," he added of Khoury's colleagues in the series, "but when there's a terrorist supporter in the production, there's nothing to see. The guy needs to apologize and quickly or you'll lose more ratings." "Since the publication, all day long I see publications about 'red skies.' Come on, let go, boycott the show," another user demanded, with dozens more reinforcing her words.

"Send the prize to Jenin together with Amir Khoury and Alona Sa'ar (Khoury's ex-girlfriend who came to his defense following the attack he suffered; If she feels like joining him," another user suggested angrily.
"It's just embarrassing that you don't even care about the lead actor's statement. It continues with how you find the IDF cruel and unethical and the terrorists as 'wretched' and supposedly only defending themselves. We do care and see it for yourself with the ratings you can forget about," another user assured the channel's captains.
"Why watch a series that glorifies the behavior of terrorists, makes their struggle legitimate, and us occupiers? How can you even see such a thing? Why do people give it a hand? Wake up already," another user demanded. "You don't see the show or the channel anymore because of your lead actor." "Shame on you. To present a series with a 'man' who lives in this country, earns a living at our expense and shamelessly spits in our faces. Boycotting your channel," a user concluded.
A few hours after the storm erupted, Khoury added a clarification in another story: "Let me be clear: I am always against violence from any side, and always in favor of humanity and the human right to receive medical care."
