We are in 2023 and it turns out that there are people who are still buying animals. What's more, it turns out that there are celebs who still think it's legitimate not only to buy animals, but also to advertise it publicly, when it's clear from those that it's going to cause a stir.
And so it was this time, when singerOmer Adamchose to buy his girlfriend, Yael Shalabia, a poodle dog for no less than 10,<> shekels. The sweet dog was presented to her packed in a gift box, plus a bouquet of balloons (and cameras that captured the moment, of course). Internet surfers did not remain indifferent to the "gift", which, as always in this case, ignited the storm of purchasing an animal instead of the good and noble deed of adopting one.
"The soothing song really doesn't atone for the wild trade in dogs like this they want," wrote one user in a video posted on the Instagram page of "Good Evening with Guy Pines," while another added: "There are so many dogs who are put to death every day!! It's enough to lend a hand to this appalling industry!" Many netizens were even harsher, with one comment writing: "How miserable you are from one to putting a dog in a gift box." ActressPerla Danochalso commented, writing: "What a shame, Allah!! If only he adopted a dog and brought him (certainly not in a closed box) what service could he do!! What a shame and how sad it is that a beautiful dog becomes an accessory that you put in a gift box, and what a shame that influential people don't think about it. Adoptive dogs don't buy! Stop contributing to the breeding industry!"
