The lull is confirmed. After several very violent nights, all over the country, the police arrested only 16 people in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Including seven in Paris and its inner suburbs, according to the balance sheet of the Paris police prefecture. This is the lowest number since the beginning of the riots on Tuesday, June 27, a few hours after Nahel's death in Nanterre. The lull had begun Sunday night. Last night, 45,000 police and gendarmes were still mobilized.
In total, the Ministry of the Interior recorded 202 fires on public roads: 78 vehicles burned, 116 garbage fires, and eight buildings damaged. And for the first time since last week, no national police, gendarmerie or municipal police premises were attacked.

While hundreds of shops have been destroyed or looted, the government has made a gesture to compensate for the financial losses: the sales will be extended by a week, until August 1. Traders who wish to do so will also exceptionally be able to open this Sunday.

- A man killed in Marseille. A 27-year-old man died in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) on the night of Saturday to Sunday, not far from riots provoked by the death of Nahel, without knowing whether or not he had participated. According to the Marseille prosecutor's office, his death was caused by a "probable flash-ball shot". A judicial investigation was opened and the IGPN seized.
- Pierre Palmade hospitalized again. The actor returned to the hospital at his request. A few days ago, he returned to the addiction department of the Pellegrin hospital in Bordeaux, which he had left at the beginning of June. Pierre Palmade is indicted for manslaughter and unintentional injury, after his car accident on February 10 that injured three people and killed an unborn baby.
- Booba targeted by a judicial investigation. He was already the subject of several complaints from Magali Berdah. The rapper Booba, whose real name is Elie Yaffa, aged 46, is now targeted by a judicial investigation opened "recently" for alleged acts of cyberharassment against the pope of influencers, to whom he delivers a merciless digital war.
- The first results of the patent arrive. After the results of the baccalaureate yesterday, it is the turn of college students to be able to obtain their grades of the famous National Diploma of the patent.
