A moment of confrontation dedicated to family businesses, which have always been one of the cornerstones of the economy of our country. This is what will take place from tomorrow to 7 July, in the spaces of the Altinate-S. Gaetano Cultural Center in Padua, on the occasion of the 2023 edition of the Family Business Forum,

On the table are crucial issues such as generational change, the opening of capital to private equity, the energy transition and sustainability towards the territory and employees, diversity and all those legal and financial aspects that affect family businesses and that are influenced by the great challenges related to macroeconomic scenarios.

"We arrive at the 2023 edition of Family Business Forum while we are witnessing a rediscovery of family capitalism which, although not perfect, has shown that it has been able to get back into the game and to be able to contribute to the challenges posed by the uncertainty of the socio-political context, technological acceleration and the necessary ecological transition. And this also thanks to a new dialogue between generations that, precisely for this reason, will have a lot of space in the Padua edition," explains Maria Silvia Sacchi, creator and director of the FBF.

Veneto has 2,183 companies with a turnover of more than 20 million euros, generating a turnover of 189 billion euros and an added value of about 545 billion euros. Of these, three quarters are family-owned businesses, representing the backbone of the local economy with a higher incidence than the national average (73.5% vs 65%).
