"We want to see kids stamping their feet in front of boxes and create an event straddling art, popular education and pedagogy," says Mathis Bouteiller, coordinator of the Kiddy Rave, to our colleagues at RTL.
"Spreading the positive values of rave party"
Various fun and educational workshops around dance and light will be set up. There will be a prevention workshop on sound-related risks, a workshop to learn how to make electronic music or quizzes and role plays.
The purpose of this event is to promote electronic music and introduce children to this environment very often targeted by negative clichés. "Our goal is to make known the positive values of the rave party such as freedom, sharing, benevolence so that children can dance and vibrate together to music," says Mathis Bouteiller to France 3 Occitanie.
The objective of this Kiddy Rave is also to bring together children from the various leisure centers of Montpellier topromote social diversity. The collective has surrounded itself with many artists to organize this event where 200 people, children and parents, are expected.
