A Netflix series about MMA? It is recorded for the director Franck Gastambide. The multi-hatted comedian is filming a series on MMA called "The Cage" as he announced on the social network Twitter.
"After Validé, my new series will be on Netflix. (...) La Cage will be the first French series in the world of MMA, "warns the director at the cinema of "Pattaya" (2016) and "Les kaïra" (2012). Simply indicated "filming" on the advertising poster put forward by Franck Gastambide, this series, which takes its title from the octagon in which MMA fights take place, should be available in 2024 on the streaming platform.

Regarding the casting, if the French director has not given any details, Netflix has already formalized the presence of Georges Saint-Pierre, Quebec legend of this sport. According to the Twitter account specializing in MMA "La sueur", we should also find the great star of French MMA Ciryl Gane, or Salahdine Parnasse, Taylor Lapilus and Souleymane Cissokho. The 44-year-old comedian spoke on his social networks very quickly about his love for MMA: "More than 10 years that I am passionate about this sport". At the announcement of the series and its name to the direction, several netizens congratulated themselves and praised his involvement in the world of MMA. Some even explain that the director would have, since 2012, made long trips abroad to attend fights.
