School is over, real life begins. Netflix announced Wednesday that the fourth season of "Sex Education" will be the last of the critically acclaimed sexy teen comedy. The final eight episodes will definitely premiere on the streaming service on Thursday, September 21, and we also have a funny and intriguing first teaser to pass the time with until then.

"We wanted to create a series that would answer some of the questions we all have about sex, friendship and our bodies," Laurie Nunn, creator of Sex Education, explained in a letter to fans ahead of the final season's premiere. "Something that will help the youth within us feel a little less lonely. It was unimaginable to see how people around the world connected with the series, and we also hope that some of you now feel less alone. The decision to end the series was not easy, but as the stories and themes of the new season took shape, it became clear to us that it was time to graduate," the creator concluded.

So what will actually happen in the final season of "Sex Education"? According to the official synopsis of the new episodes, Otis (Issa Butterfield) and Eric (Shoti Gatwa) begin attending Cavendish College, facing new frontiers and challenges: "Otis is worried about setting up his new clinic, while Eric prays they don't become losers again. But it turns out that all Mordale High School students are getting culture shock in Cavendish. They thought they were progressive people, but the new college is a whole other level: there are daily yoga classes in the communal garden, a strong vibe of sustainability, and a group of students popular just because they... Nice?! Vivian is thrilled by the non-competitive attitude at the place, while Jackson is still dealing with the breakup with Cal. Amy tries something new with an advanced art course, while Adam wonders if a regular curriculum is really right for him.

Meanwhile, in the United States, Maeve is living the dream at the prestigious Wallace University, while Otis longs for her and tries to get used to the fact that he is no longer the only child in the house—nor the only sex therapist on campus.
