From his private car, radio broadcaster Daniel Zioni posted a short video on Thursday in which he shared the rejection he received on romantic grounds just because he was an observant and traditional person. The conversation he had with the person from whom he experienced the refusal prompted him to turn to his tens of thousands of Instagram followers this morning to convey an important message to him on the matter.
In a conversation we had with him, he told how he reacted to the refusal. "I'm here to cut all those dark ones," he told us.

"Well, then I always open my personal life. It's me, for better or worse, no filters, Take It Or Liv It. But I will share with you that last night I did not fall asleep. They managed to pierce my armor, the thick elephant skin I always pride myself on. I got a gut knockout. Pain you don't even understand. Like you, I, too, experience upheavals in relationships of one kind or another, and for the first time in my life I was refused because I am religious, because I lead a Shabbat-observant and kosher lifestyle. Some people I quote, 'It's not very appropriate at this time and these days. This anti-religion must stop. And if he has reached a relationship, the name will be saved. Don't change your life for anyone. Don't be upset and that it won't cause you any defeat for a moment.
"The refusal was in the romantic and marital sphere," shared a Zionist in a conversation we had with him.
How did you react?
"In shock, shock and amazement. I accept everything, and I also reject a lot of things – no one is perfect and it's legitimate and acceptable. But to tell a person, 'Your religion bothers me precisely on days like these,' when it is clear that the intention is political, with everything that is happening around the ultra-Orthodox storm, is as far as I am concerned will be killed and will not pass. This religious antagonism must stop, and I'm here to make a cut for all those dark people who are likely to remain single. I was shocked that this was happening in 2023. Where did we go?
