After singer Aviv Geffen was arrested Tuesday night during the demonstrations in Kaplan, his 16-year-old son, Dylan, decided to share with his Instagram followers what they went through.
"Police violence against demonstrators: It all started when my father and I were standing near the Ayalon descent. My father laughed with demonstrators on the other side of the road with a megaphone until a policeman came and violently attacked demonstrators, including me, and finally my father, who pushed him away. He was immediately overwhelmed by more than ten policemen. A lot of demonstrators from all corners of Israeli society accompanied him and the policemen shouting 'contempt' at the conduct of the police."
"A policeman pushed me away for no reason": Aviv Geffen responds to arrest
Just like his father, Dylan is politically aware: "This case is one of many that luckily ended without blood, unlike many other cases. I hope this incident reminds us what we are protesting for. For our future, a free future, in which such behavior towards citizens exercising their democratic right will not become something we accept. I hope the government mafia understands that we are a foot away from the point of no return. Now is the 'sixth' hour, when we need to unite and act as a significant brake on the government."
