Highlights: Prince William and Kate Middleton launched a new children's play park near Windsor on Tuesday. The new theme park is located on the border of Berkshire and Surrey. If you want to go there with your children, you will have to part with 12 pounds, which is about 55 shekels, for entry to a supervising parent. For a child aged 2-15, you pay more than 70 NIS to surf the slide or tour wooden cabins for only two hours. The prince and princess launched a new children's play park this week and immediately received a flood of comments "I would expect this kind of behaviour from Harry and Meghan, not Kate and William"

Prince William and Kate Middleton launched a new children's play park near Windsor on Tuesday, but the reception didn't seem to be particularly enthusiastic.

The new theme park is located on the border of Berkshire and Surrey and not everyone can enter it. If you want to go there with your children, you will have to part with 12 pounds, which is about 55 shekels, for entry to a supervising parent. For a child aged 2-15, you pay more than 70 NIS to surf the slide or tour wooden cabins for only two hours.

Parents accused William and Kate of being "out of touch with reality" and not "taking into account the difficult economic situation in the country."

"We are collapsing under the cost of living," commented one follower on the park's Instagram account. "Whoever approved the entrance fee to the park needs to get down to the ground and see what's happening on the ground, parents are struggling with the burden, families are struggling to make ends meet," wrote another.

"Why do parents have to pay a playground ticket?" wrote another parent. "yes, it looks great but I'm not going to play there, just my kid. And only for two hours," wrote another. "I would expect this kind of behavior from Harry and Meghan, not from William and Kate." Other netizens actually backed the prince and princess. "They have nothing to do with the price charged, they were just invited to open the park."

Last summer, William and Kate moved to Windsor with their three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5. The new park is within walking distance of their cottage and Windsor Castle.

The park's management said in response that "the place is intended not only for children, parents are also welcome to fly with their imagination. All-day parking is included and families can enjoy additional facilities outside the park. The price is intended to ensure the number of visitors and prevent overcrowding. As with everything we do, we will check our prices."
