After quite a few delays and, of course, constant drama in her life, Britney Spears, 41, is finally getting a moment of comfort with the announcement of an official date for the release of her highly anticipated and much-talked-about autobiography, "The Woman In Me," which will be released on October 24, People reported.

The autobiography, which features a black-and-white topless photo of Britney in her youth, will reveal secrets and details about her childhood and family, her career, her turbulent love life and, of course, the many dramas in her life, including her father-sponsored 13-year legal guardianship that came to a dramatic end in November 2021.

"In June 2021, the whole world listened to Brittany in court. The effect of her voice and truth being heard is invaluable and has changed the course of her life and the trajectory of many others," reads a website promoting the sale of the autobiography, for which Spears reportedly received $15 million. "The book describes for the first time her incredible journey and the strength behind one of the greatest performers in pop history."

"Britney's fascinating testimony in a publicly exposed courtroom shocked the world, changed laws and revealed her inspiring strength and courage," Jennifer Bergstrom, a gallery executive who was chosen to publish the book, told People magazine.
