This absurd film features Pio Marmaï and Blanche Gardin, in the roles of boulevard actors suffering a hostage taking during their performance.

After Incredible but true and Smoking makes cough, Dupieux had announced his return with a next new film, Daaaaaali!, scheduled in theaters for 2023 but it is finally (and not without surprise) that will appear in theaters on August 2 Yannick, film with an absurd tone, which he is used to the genre. The cast includes Raphaël Quenard (Je voir toujours vos visages), Blanche Gardin (Tout le monde aime Jeanne), Pio Marmaï (Les Trois Mousquetaires) and Sébastien Chassagne (Grand Paris).

Invited on June 29 by Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine on the set of the show C à Vous on France 5, Raphaël Quenard, interpreter of the main role, had wanted to make a surprising announcement: "The entrance to the screenings of this film will be free for all people able to present an identity card in the name of Yannick".
