The Rotel RC-1590 MKII Preamplifier is a Roon Tested certified stereo model equipped with digital and analog inputs, including a phono input, and an AAC and aptX compatible Bluetooth wireless receiver. It can be paired with the Rotel RB-1590 power amp. The Rotel RC-1590 MKII preamplifier that replaces the Rotel RC-1590 released in 2015 benefits from many improvements: new coupling capacitors directly in the audio signal path for better frequency response at the DAC level, new resistors and new capacitors for the power supply of the latter, the volume circuit and XLR balanced circuits.
This Rotel RC-1590 MKII stereo preamplifier also uses a new premium analog-to-digital converter from Wolfson and compatible with 32-bit/384 kHz. It supports PCM digital audio files up to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD 128 (5.6MHz) files as well as MQA and MQA Studio files.
