A meeting of the management of the Israel Medical Association
Even after today's meeting, a doctors' strike is not expected to be announced today. Instead, informational meetings of medical teams will be held in the various hospitals.

At Hillel Yaffe in Hadera, the informational meeting will take place at 10:30, as will Rambam Hospital in Haifa. According to the guidelines issued to doctors, the meetings will explain to them what it means to reduce the cause of reasonableness and how the change in it will affect the medical world.

Prof. Hagai Levin, chairman of the Association of Public Health Physicians, said last week: "We are in a democratic and health emergency. Eliminating the grounds of reasonableness will severely harm the rights of patients, patients, physicians and physicians, the quality of medicine and public health, professional autonomy and the training of doctors.
The IMA declaration, approved by 90% of the doctors, explicitly states that the IMA must act in case of fear of harm. The time of truth has come - the harm is happening now. Even according to the legal advice of the IMA, which will be presented today at the IMA secretariat, there is justification and backing for the action.
